  1. 30-60-second film publish to your OSD YouTube Channel
    • Use any equipment you have; phone, Chromebook, etc.
    • Edit with any free video editor you have access to; iMovie, YouTube, phone, etc.
  2. Blog post with the material listed in the Steps section below

Steps

  •  Inspiration
  • Intention
    • Set an Intention (Goal) for your film
      • Be specific: what do you hope the audience feels, learns, experiences, etc. by watching your film?
  • Pre-production
    • Write a logline
    • Brainstorm dialog, actor blocking, shot angles, camera movements, lighting ideas, backgrounds, wardrobe ideas, sound ideas
    • Write a script, if you need one
    • Storyboard each shot to get a better idea of how the shots will flow visually
    • Make a shot list
  • Production
    • Film your shots with your available equipment; your phone, Chromebook, etc.
  • Post-production
    • Edit your shots with any film editor
    • Publish to your OSD YouTube Channel
    • Publish a blog post at your Edublogs account
      • Copy and paste the Film Feedback TEMPLATE into your blog
      • Title your post 60 Second Film: the name of your film Feedback
  • Summary
    • Under the Summary heading…
    • Fill in the summary including your logline and goal of the film
  • Questions and Feedback
    • Under the Questions heading…
    • Write a few questions for the audience
      • What feedback do you want from the audience to help you improve your skills?
      • We will post these to the chat before listening, for people to respond
    • Under the Peer Feedback heading…
    • After you receive this feedback, add it to your post
    • Cite the sources with their first name only
