- Make a list of everything you want to achieve by the end of 2020 (just write freely, no editing or overthinking)
- Look at the list and narrow it down to the Top 3 things you just can’t do without
- Look at THAT list and start tackling the ONE THING that is the most exciting to you (probably also the scariest)
- Devote 80% of your energy to achieving this (or making a BIG dent in this) in the next 90 days
- Devote the remaining 20% of your focus to the next goal on your short list (this is a head start for your next 90 day goal) – variety is also a good thing for you
- Always keep things super simple
- If you ever feel overwhelmed (or procrastinate) during the process, it means you need to simplify further
- Take action immediately and be reckless (imperfect action always trumps waiting)
- Don’t be afraid to ask a friend or an expert for help
- Hire a coach who has achieved what you want to achieve
- Aim for 1% improvement each day (anything more is a bonus)
- Go horizontal rather than vertical, meaning 5 minutes every day is better than 35 minutes on one day
- Ask yourself regularly if there is a simpler approach you can take to achieving your goal
- Record yourself as much as you can
- Watch/listen to your recordings as much as you can
- Have someone else watch/listen to your recordings and give you feedback
- Reflect back on how you’re doing every Sunday and project into the following week with adjustments
- Surround yourself with winners and people who inspire you to be your best (FB group, social club, membership site, etc.)
- Keep an achievements list for any major milestones you hit along the way
- Think like you’ve already achieved your goal
- And above all… Remember to have fun!
Ok, that’s 21 things, not 20.
What can I say, I like to overdeliver. 😉
