How do you find media to use in presentations, web pages or other potentially public projects that don’t infringe on copyright? Search for material with a Creative Commons license.
Another tip for cataloguing media is to name it with the following convention:
- date
- author
- file name
- EXAMPLE: 091016_scottleduc.org_fenderstrat.jpg
Organizing your media this way makes it easier to cite the work later when you put the presentation or project together.
